The Serenity of Crowded Collaboration

I love photography - of course I do. But there's so many levels of what I love about it. I love it's ability to capture a moment in time or the ability of it to evoke emotion to move ideas forward. I love how a photographer's perspective can augment reality in different and moving ways. Photography can express and tell a story - and there's always a story to tell. Yesterday I was reminded once again what I love about photography the most (or at least commercial photography), is the collaborative nature of it. We were shooting at The Brookstreet Hotel capturing imagery for Healthcraft's upcoming redesigned website. In order to create even simple and serene imagery, a collaborate team is so important - so critical. A big thanks to our Healthcraft client Sunil, art director Katelin from FIFTY, our model Genvieve from MIM, Maija my assistant extraordinaire and Meike from The Brookstreet who so kindly arranged such a great location for us to shoot in. Team is everything!
