I had a fun day this past Thursday, putting on a small photo camp day at a cool place called The Art Table. We worked on stuff like creativity, composition, content and opening their hearts and eyes to their world - they were all so open and hungry to shoot! A big part of teaching anyone about photography is to actually get them to break rules as opposed to teaching them, and the cool thing about kids is that they don't know any rules even exist! ;) Another fun aspect of teaching kids photography, is that they are very in-tuned to the world around themselves and they pay really close attention to it - so it's a natural next step for them to pick up a camera and capture it!
