We're so lucky to be staying in this awesome boutique hotel, The Hudson. A photographer and designer's dream hotel. Oh yeah and the rooftop terrace is pretty cool first thing in the morning too. :)
I was just there for 2 weeks at my brother's place. They don't call it the Big Apple for nothing. If you get a chance head over to Brooklyn. Easy to get to by subway and very laid back. Williamsburg is kinda like a huge Mount Royal / Queens St West.
These days, in this busy web based era of everyone being 'image savvy' and spending as much time as we all do connected on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and other internet sites - it's oh so critical to have current, engaging and authentic corporate imagery. Long gone is the day of a quick head and shoulders portrait on a canvas or white backdrop.
Busy dynamic executives spend their time in meeting rooms, offices and busy hallways - not photo studios! So the best place for executives to be photographed is in their everyday office environment. The imagery will be so much more natural and honest.
I've been shooting corporate imagery for over 25 years and I've seen many trends come and go, but this more natural style is by far my favorite. Executives like it, but clients love and trust in it even more!
